DID YOU KNOW?
On June 10th, 1953, Mrs. Mabel Jessop called to order the first meeting of what is now known as Rady Children’s Hospital Auxiliary, one year before the hospital opened its doors. Today there are more than 20 units throughout San Diego with 1200 members who participate in educating, advocating and fundraising for Rady Children’s.
- Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego is the largest pediatric hospital in California and is nationally ranked in 10 pediatric specialties. (US News & World Report)
- Rady Children’s is a major pediatric clinical research center, working in collaboration with world renowned institutions including UC San Diego and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
- Rady Children’s Health Network has more than 30 offices located throughout San Diego and southern Riverside Counties.
